What is a QEP?
A Quality Enhancement Plan or QEP demonstrates how our university will strengthen student learning and achievement and is required for the university’s accreditation.
- Focused on student learning or the student experience
- Aligned with our mission and strategic plan
- Built with input from students, faculty, staff, and community members
- Designed with measurable goals and outcomes
For more information, see the SACSCOC guidelines on QEPs.
How You Can Participate
We are collecting ideas for our next QEP topic. Your input will guide the committee as we identify themes and set priorities.
Ways to get involved:
- Submit an Idea: Complete the QEP Idea Survey.
- Attend a Session: Listening sessions will be scheduled for students, faculty, and staff.
- QEP Leadership Visits: Members of the QEP leadership team will be visiting faculty meetings, staff councils, and student organizations to share information and gather feedback.
- Contact Us: Email Sarah Moore, QEP Director.

A QEP Topic Selection Committee will be appointed in January 2026. This group will:
- Review all submitted ideas and institutional data
- Group and evaluate topics against mission alignment, student impact, measurability, and feasibility
- Recommend 2-3 strong topics for consideration
Once appointed, committee membership will be posted here.
An Implementation Committee will be appointed in Fall 2026.
